In 2008 the restored greens of Royal Hague, an Alison/Colt masterpiece located in the coastal dunes of the Netherlands, were opened after a two year restoration project by IVGD. Click here to see pictures of the greens before and after.
The new par 3 hole that was constructed at Cruden Bay in the summer of 2008 was opened for club play fall 2009 to positive reviews. Although the hole isn't particularly long, it plays difficult due to the almost constant side wind, the menace of the beach right behind the greensite, the undulated surface of the green and finally the surrounding hollows.
Frank has written two chapters in the volumes IV and V of Golf Course Architecture: A worlwide perspective.
