In 2004 Frank renovated the complete 16th hole of Eindhoven.
The 16th hole was not an original Colt green anymore. During World War II the Germans had destroyed the green of hole 16 and flattened the fairway of hole 17 so that it was possible to use it as an airfield. After the war the members of Eindhoven rebuilt the hole as best as they could, but it never regained its former glory.
The club asked Frank to create a hole that would again have all the hallmarks of a Colt design, whilst leaving the greensurface intact. This was achieved by cretaing three bunkers around the green, and a number of grassy hollows in front and behind the green. Also the tees were raised about a meter so that the lake in front of the clubhouse would be visible again.
Within a year the renovated the hole was voted one of Hollands 18 best holes.
