In 2006 Frank built his second new 9 holes golf course Land van Thorn in the south of the Netherlands.
The course is built on pure sand, runs over previous agricultural land and along a meandering stream and is bordered by old oaks on most other sides. Because of the sandy soil it was possible to build a high quality course for a very low budget.
The character of the course is pure Links, in that it has strongly undulating fairways, strategically positioned bunkers, well defended greens surrounded by grassy hollows and short cut grass.
